Pakistan is among the world’s largest producers and exporters of hand-knotted carpets, which are very popular and in great demand by wholesalers and the general public all over the world.
AFGHAN CARPET is one such name which has built a reputation over generations for great designs and quality in the trade of retailing and exporting hand-knotted carpets of all origins, having its head office and warehouse in Karachi with nationwide branches/outlets in Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and in the midst of opening an outlet in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Home décor category relies heavily on strong creatives. Afghan Carpet not only wanted to improve their creative social media, but also drive online sale through digital communication. It is an uphill task as Afghan Carpet has very expensive carpets and their customer base was not in Pakistan but aboard as well.
Talking Point helped the brand meet its objective by revamping their creative strategy and working closing with them during both pre and post production phase by pitching creative photography ideas. Afghan Carpet year end sale was also strategized by Talking Point, which made this year’s sale one of the highest revenue generating sales in their history. A mix of paid media and influencers was activated which helped drive the sales during the sales period.
